Baumann Automation will be represented at automatica again in 2025 - the leading international trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics. From 24 to 27 June, automatica will bring together leading technology providers, developers and users from the industry for another year and is considered the central platform for innovation, knowledge exchange and future technologies in automated production.

On 25 June from 2:30 p.m. to 2:55 p.m., Stefan Wendl, Business Developer at Baumann Automation, will give an exciting presentation entitled ‘State of the Art Welding of Pacemakers with Industrial Robots’ as part of TechTalks Live at the Stäubli stand (Stand 315/Hall B5).

‘State of the Art Welding of Pacemakers with Industrial Robots’

The precise and clean welding of medical devices such as pacemakers places high demands on process reliability, quality and technology. In his presentation, Stefan Wendl will show how industrial robots can improve the manufacturing process and increase efficiency at the same time through contamination-free, precise handling.

Special attention will be paid to the use of AI-based digital twins, which can be used to simulate, analyse and optimise welding processes in a realistic manner, among other things. These technologies contribute significantly to quality assurance in medical technology and open up new perspectives for future applications in healthcare.
